So… umm… does this track look a little quick to anyone else?

The 24 hours of Lemons at Buttonwillow track layout has been released and me thinks our little BMW might actually be able to hit some surprising speeds.
Thankfully, we will be able to see just how fast (or slow) we are going because Mad_Science got the gauges working again.
so what does this make the total lap length?

That is a great question… the answer to which I have no clue.
Perhaps Mr. Science has a better idea… he emailed me a google maps (true dat, double true) version which might help…

According to the LeMons forums, it’s 2.8 miles.
Depending on where/if they put in chicanes, this track is going to be Serious Business.

You’ll notice the released map actually has South pointing up. You can see where spectators are on this shot.

Yeah, it seems like Jay and company tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to plunking down tire chicanes. Still cool, if they are in fact using both loops.
