We had a blast and a longer write up will be forthcoming… but we wrapped up the 24 Hours of Lemons Buttonwillow ‘09 on a positive note even though the car didnt finish on the track.
We are taking the car home and already hard at work on our next concept for Thunderhill in November…

Buttonwillow Track Map Released

The 24 hours of Lemons at Buttonwillow track layout has been released and me thinks our little BMW might actually be able to hit some surprising speeds.

Our choice, an E24, is related to the E28 which Murilee has picked has a good choice… however, as my erstwhile good doctor Mad_Science points out in the comments section - our car is more E12 than E28 - which makes parts harder to find…
